"Parents speak highly of pre-school and comment on how reassured they are by how well their children have settled and are developing."
November 2019 Ofsted report.

"My 5 year old son has a great time at out of school club, he gets to carry on playing with all his friends, has games and crafts to occupy him, he enjoys the walk to the club and generally has a great time."

education

Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future. We are OFSTED registered and therefore teach the children a curriculum according to their age.

The goals of The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is to help young children to achieve the best possible start in life and provide the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. These goals are delivered through planned, purposeful play with a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities.

Each child in our setting has an online learning journal of their time at pre-school. Our tapestry system allows us to see development gaps, progressions and areas of excellence. We can always ensure we support each child holistically and ensure progress is made through learning that is fun and interesting.

Your child's achievements are recorded and given to you in their own personal book when they leave us. The corresponding information is also passed on to school to make the transition as easy as possible for your child.
